Each summer at Impact Houston, hundreds of pieces come together to make our program possible. Van and bus drivers, interns, visiting youth groups, reading teachers, and staff all play an essential role in serving more than 550 children and students. Together, they create a place where kids can learn about Jesus, feel safe, and know they belong.
Piece by piece, God is building something beautiful. Through daily Bible studies, reading classes, field trips, and service projects, our kids are discovering that with Jesus, they are loved, capable, and full of purpose.
Erick
One important piece of this summer’s puzzle is Erick, one of our middle school interns. Erick grew up at Impact, participating in our programs and being poured into by so many faithful people. Now a sophomore at the University of Houston Downtown, he has a deep love for God’s Word and is someone our middle school boys look up to and love. Erick’s story is a reminder of what happens when each piece is faithfully placed over time.
While Jesus is always at the center, He uses people like you to help bring the picture together. Many of you have faithfully given, served, and prayed for years. Because of you, children like Erick have grown up knowing they are seen, loved, and valued.
