Impact has determined the following concerning its weekly operations:

Updated 7/8/2020 – Refresh browser for most updated page

The Impact eldership has determined to continue our worship services ONLINE-ONLY for the next two Sundays, July 12 and July 19. There will be no in-person worship services those two Sundays.

It is a difficult time for us to be apart from each other, but concern for the safety of our membership makes it necessary. We are prayerful, alongside you, for a return to meeting in person soon. We are also prayerful, alongside you, for all those adversely affected by the virus, be it sickness, economically, loneliness, or whatever this difficult time has brought your way.

Please share this change in worship services for the next two Sundays with all those in your circles.  There are those who do not have access to e-mail or other ways we will attempt to share this information.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to speak with someone you haven’t seen in a while and encourage them with the love of Jesus!  Call someone, let them know the update, and speak some love and encouragement into them!

Online services will continue at the times of 10:30am for Spanish-speaking and 12:00pm for English-speaking on our Facebook page and later on our website.

Be on the lookout for more updates.  Maybe God be with you and stay safe!

We’d like to invite you to join us on the Impact Facebook page at 10:30 this Sunday for a worship service in Spanish and at 12:00 for a worship service in English as we worship our risen Lord, Jesus, together, as well as a “Kids Corner.”  The services will continue to be available on the Impact Facebook page and the Impact website in case you miss them.  Let’s join together in prayer, worship, and remembrance of our Lord during this difficult time!

Impact Office will resume normal operating hours beginning Monday, May 4 – 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00am-12:00pm on Fridays.

The Impact Resource Center WILL continue to distribute food.  We will now serve individuals and families once every two weeks instead of once a month. We’ll be open Tuesdays 9:00am-10:30am and Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:00pm.  Safety protocols will continue to be followed. For everyone’s safety, please stay in your car, keep your windows rolled up, and open your trunk.  Continue to pray for the safety and well-being of our staff, and share this with those you know who are in need of help with food!

Sunday Evening Worship Services at Lindale are cancelled until 6/21/20 when on-site services will resume.

All Mid-Week Bible Studies and Meals, on and off-campus, are canceled through June 1.  These include the Liberty Island, Garden Oaks Adult Activity Center, Highland Park, Independence Hall, and Forgotten Sinners Bible studies, all youth and children’s classes and mentoring, English and Spanish-speaking midweek bible studies, South Houston Bible Institute classes, and any other mid-week gatherings.

Thursday Night Children’s Classes are canceled through the end of the school year.

Homeless Ministry WILL continue to hand out lunches and travel bags, but will cancel showers and clothes washing.

Garage Sale Pick-ups are canceled through June 1 and the warehouse will be closed as well.

Arms of Hope Family Outreach Center- Houston is taking measures to ensure the health of our clients, our staff, and our community during the COVID-19 outbreak. In light of this, we are offering services through phone appointment only. If you would like to schedule a phone appointment you can reach out to us by calling 713-868-1309 and leave a voicemail. Someone will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Despite these closures, Impact still needs everyone’s support.  Elders are encouraging all members to continue weekly giving as they’re able.  Visit HERE to see options for giving.
