Impact COVID-19 Update
Online worship will be available on the Impact Facebook page at 10:30am this Sunday for a worship service in Spanish and at 11:30am for a worship service in English as we worship our risen Lord, Jesus, together. The services will be available afterward on the Impact Facebook page and the Impact website in case you miss them. Let’s join together in prayer, worship, and remembrance of our Lord during this difficult time!
Impact has determined the following concerning its weekly operations:
Impact Office has resumed normal operating hours: 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00am-12:00pm on Fridays.
The Impact Resource Center continues to distribute food. We are serving individuals and families once every two weeks instead of once a month. We’ll be open Tuesdays 9:00am-10:30am and Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:00pm. Safety protocols continue to be followed. For everyone’s safety, please stay in your car, keep your windows rolled up, and open your trunk. Continue to pray for the safety and well-being of our staff, and share this with those you know who are in need of help with food!
Sunday Evening Worship Services at Lindale are cancelled until further notice.
Most Mid-Week Bible Studies and Meals, on and off-campus are not currently taking place. These include the Liberty Island, Garden Oaks Adult Activity Center, Highland Park, Independence Hall, and Forgotten Sinners Bible studies, all youth and children’s classes and mentoring, English and Spanish-speaking midweek bible studies, and most other mid-week gatherings.
South Houston Bible Institute classes have restarted on Wednesday evenings at 5:40 and 7:00.
Thursday Night Children’s Classes are canceled through the end of the school year.
Homeless Ministry WILL continue to hand out lunches and travel bags, but will cancel showers and clothes washing.
Arms of Hope Family Outreach Center- Houston is taking measures to ensure the health of our clients, our staff, and our community during the COVID-19 outbreak.
