What a day! Fourteen faithful attenders of our homeless ministry showed up ready to serve, clearing trash from our property, the circle behind the Resource Center, and along I-10. It was a joy to work alongside them, and we’re grateful for all that was accomplished.
We recently hosted a group of students who joined us in our weekly outreach, and together we delivered food and essentials from our warehouse to families in need. One especially meaningful visit was helping a sister from our congregation who had recently moved into a new home after leaving behind most of her belongings. She had almost nothing—not even a place to sit. Together, we were able to furnish her home with basic furniture and household essentials, restoring comfort and dignity. We also ministered to a family facing a severe financial crisis after a serious car accident left them without income. We’re grateful for those students and the many like them who come to serve, and also for those who donate, organize, and work tirelessly so that such important things are available to be given to those who need them!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our recent Family Movie Night such a fun and meaningful event for our church and community! Events like this are part of a larger effort to create more opportunities for family outreach and community connection here at Impact. We’re excited about what God is building and prayerful that the relationships that were begun will continue to bear fruit!
Sundays are always special at Lindale. From 5–6 PM, we gather for a second worship service in English and Spanish, making space for everyone to come together, hear the Word, and sing praises to our King. One of the sweetest moments is at the end of the Spanish service, when the children share what they learned in class and their love for God shines through.
We’re proud of our Impact Mentoring pairs, who recently spent time making hygiene bags for the Refuge homeless ministry!
Every third Saturday, our Spanish-speaking women come together to grow in faith, build genuine community, and walk alongside one another. On April 18th, we leaned into a powerful workshop, “Emotions: The Language of the Soul.” Through Scripture, conversation, and hands-on moments, we created space for connection, encouragement, and real growth. It was a joy to see women building new friendships and strengthening their inner lives together.
