Moses’ Story

We need your help! Your beautiful and generous gifts to the Lord have allowed Impact to serve tens of thousands of the ‘least of these’ over the past 40 years.

Moses comes to mind. Moses has severe disabilities, which have made his life extra difficult. He managed to find his way to Impact to receive much needed food. The man was hungry. Immediately Moses was fully embraced by the Impact family. Several volunteers and ministers started spending time with Moses and invited him to church. 

Moses was baptized and he immediately started sharing his wonderful newfound life in Christ. Moses could not contain his joy and love for Jesus. To date fifteen people have attended church from his physical rehab center, and five have been baptized. Several of the baptisms were complicated by a variety of disabilities and issues helping them get in the water. I wish everyone could have witnessed the pure joy and excitement as new life burst forth from the baptismal waters. God is so good.

This is made possible in part by your giving. What began as one hungry man's hesitant visit to Impact has become a wave of connection and faith - proof that God turns little into much. Moses said it best, "Maybe what they have seems small", he said, "but God takes it and multiplies it."
