Meet our Maker
by Paul Bailey
“God is good all the time, and All the time, God is Good”
Creator, Healer, Father, Provider, Redeemer, and Deliverer—these are just a few of the many ways we experience God each and every day. This summer, our high school students came to know and understand more deeply the incredible God we serve.
When we pray, we bow our heads, close our eyes, and open our hearts—because we are speaking with God. And yet, sometimes we hesitate to pray aloud. It can feel intimidating, especially if we don’t truly know who God is. But God is not only our Father—He is our best friend. John 17:3 reminds us: “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
This summer, God gave us so many opportunities to share who He is with others. We went on three mission trips—to Medina Children’s Home, Contact Church in Tulsa, and even all the way to Brazil. We partnered with local schools and charities, serving through aid and labor. We even climbed a mountain in New Mexico—an unforgettable experience that reminded us of God’s greatness and creativity!
Whether through words or actions, we were able to share the gospel in powerful ways. Summer is always a busy season at Impact, but through it all, we saw God move. Six high schoolers made the life-changing decision to accept Christ through baptism!
Our youth group has grown not just in size, but in love and unity—we’re becoming a family. And through everything, many have witnessed the goodness of God.
