A Beautiful Weekend
Impact’s Homeless Ministry recently hosted a powerful retreat at Camp Oak Haven, bringing together 29 men and women we serve for a time of deep reflection, restoration, and community. With the theme “A New Beginning,” the retreat centered on renewal through Christ, encouraging participants to release the weight of past burdens and step into new life with purpose.
Sessions such as “Leaving the Past Behind,” “New Life in Christ,” and “Walking in God’s Purpose” were rooted in Scripture and included personal journaling, prayer, testimonies, and group discussions. Through breakout groups and times of worship, attendees explored healing, dignity, and the hope of transformation in Christ.
Seventeen dedicated volunteers served throughout the weekend, creating a welcoming and supportive space for each participant to encounter God in a fresh way. Whether around the campfire sharing stories or during moments of quiet reflection in nature, the presence of the Spirit evident. We are grateful for everyone who made this weekend possible and for the continued prayers that sustain this ministry. God is so good to us—He continues to restore, redeem, and remind each of us that no one is too far.
