Women’s Conference 2025

Impact recently held a Women’s Conference that was well attended by a diverse group, from young women in high school to empty nesters like Marcia Baulch.  Marcia shares her story:

“I must admit, initially I did not plan to attend the women’s conference. I declared myself not to be a “conference kind of gal”. I have never been to one and hadn’t plan to start but then God reminded me to think outside of myself. After a personal text from Raemi Goen, the girls high school minister, I realized what an opportunity God was presenting me with to bless and support OTHERS. Whenever an Impact minister asks me to do anything, I consider it a request from God! Who says “No” to God? I decided to go and be open to opportunities of interaction, whether over a meal, during a service project, or while sharing in a small group setting. What a rich diverse sisterhood the Impact family has! During lunch, I met Priscilla, a proud mom of six children and two grandchildren who’s been attending Impact for years. While making a fleece tie blanket as part of a service project I met Na’Vayah, a high school student whose favorite color is pink. I met Maya during dinner after she shared her passion for scuba diving as part of the panel discussion. We happen to share a love for the card game called Nertz. During dinner, I also met Casey after she shared a delicate moment she had with a family friend. I felt a bond with her over that experience. I could go on but you get the point. I have attended Impact over ten years yet because I stay in my comfort zone and sit in the same seat every Sunday, I have missed out on getting to know so many beautiful and inspiring Christian women. We are made for community! I encourage you to get connected and become a part of something beautiful. “
