A Hopeful Example

Each week, Impact’s homeless ministry has the privilege of serving over 300 nourishing meals and providing more than 150 refreshing showers to those in need. These acts of kindness are not merely about fulfilling basic needs but also about restoring dignity and offering a moment of respite in lives often marked by hardship. In addition to meals and showers, our ministry outfits 50+ individuals with clean, season-appropriate clothing every month, ensuring they have the essentials to face their daily challenges with dignity.
This simple act of kindness can make a world of difference, offering comfort and a renewed sense of self-worth. Our ministry is deeply committed to nurturing the spirit as well. Each week, hundreds of people hear the Gospel through our outreach efforts, experiencing the transformative power of God’s word. This dedication to sharing the love of Christ has led to numerous baptisms every month, marking the beginning of new journeys of faith and transformation.
Central to our mission are the inspiring stories of individuals like Javon and Jeremy. Once recipients of our services, these two men, though still experiencing homelessness, now volunteer daily with our homeless ministry. Javon and Jeremy are true beacons of hope, embodying the spirit of giving back and paying it forward. They help serve food with warm smiles, they sing uplifting songs, pray fervently, and assist in all aspects of our Outdoorsmen ministry. Their faith and commitment exemplify the profound impact of our work and the life-changing power of community and compassion.
