Impact Thursday Nights are Back!
by Caroline Morales
One of the mainstays of Impact over the past few decades has been our Thursday night elementary kids Bible Classes. Every Thursday night vans and buses travel throughout Houston to pick up children to learn more about the Bible.
Our classes started back in September after a summer break and we are blessed with an amazing group of teachers. Over the past few years, we have had a handful of loyal and dedicated teachers but this is the first time since before the pandemic that we have been able to have a full staff of teachers and volunteers. We also had around 75 children attend the class – which is the most since 2020. We are so thankful to God for allowing these classes to happen year after year!
The 3rd grade teachers, Claudia and Toya, are 2 very special ladies. Both Claudia and Toya started out driving the vehicles to pick up the children, but their love for the Lord overflowed and now they are teaching a class together! They are both true servants and it shows in everything they do.
