The Return of Family Night
by Caroline Morales
One exciting event this summer was the return of Family Night. This is an evening where all of the families of the children and youth who attend our summer programs are invited into our church building to enjoy a meal, singing, a lesson, and a performance from the children. Many of the families came to Impact for the first time, and had the opportunity to meet many of the ministers and staff from Impact.
A big highlight was the VBS (elementary aged) children performing the songs and memory verses they have learned this summer. It is amazing to see how the children are capable of learning with practice and encouragement.
The Middle School and High School ministers shared the highlights of their summer program. Finally the adults were encouraged with a message of hope from our own Dennis Jaeger.
Please join us in prayer for all the children and their families.
