Impact 2016 Girls Retreat: Use Your Voice!

Our annual girls retreat was once again an overwhelming success! Our theme of Use Your Voice, which tied in with the TV show The Voice, challenged the girls to reflect on the words they use in their relationships, family, and social media, as well as to evaluate their inner voices that can so commonly be negative.
We had the honor of having Dwan and Serrae Reed as our keynote speakers, and they did a phenomenal job! There were also several women who served as the girls’ ‘coaches’ and led them in small group discussions afterwards. And then a fun time at the end of the evening was having the women and girls perform popular karaoke songs together. It was a night crammed with insight and laughter and of course some good and bad singing mixed in! Special thanks to all the women who helped make this night possible, from preparing our food to creating our props to spending the night—each of you were invaluable to the success of the evening and your love and service to these girls is deeply appreciated!
