Impact Resource Center

How do you tell a hungry person about the peace that comes with knowing Christ – and ignore their burden?

How do you tell someone who is homeless that even though the world marginalizes them our God does not – without at least trying to meet their basic needs?

?????????????

The Impact Resource Center is open Monday through Friday to provide food and clothing and has furniture and household goods for special needs.  We are often the first contact people have with the Impact Church and our staff and volunteers strive to maintain their dignity and to show them the love of Christ.

We have consistently seen people’s needs grow through the years – last year we served over 600,000 meals – but God has also consistently allowed us to meet those needs through donations from over 50 churches and individuals and through multiple partnerships with organizations like the Houston Food Bank.

The opportunities for volunteering your time and talents abound.  There are a wide range of opportunities, from leading bible studies, delivering food, clothing or other necessities to a needy person and sharing why, filling bags for families, organizing food and clothes, or working in our warehouse.

Please call or email us to schedule a time to sit down and discuss how you can get involved!

Monday 9am-5pm: Sort and prepare food, supplies, and clothing
Tuesday 7am-noon and Wednesday 7-8pm: Help with food and clothes distribution programs
